A Finite Capacity Markovian Queueing System With Catastrophic Effects And Bernoulli Feedbacks

Abstract

In this paper, we develop and introduce the concept of Bernoulli feedbacks in a single server finite capacity Markovian queueing system with catastrophic effects having faster and slower arrival rates. When the service of a customer is completed, the customer may depart forever from the system or may immediately join as a feedback customer for receiving additional service. This may be repeated any number of times until the customer is satisfied with the service. The system suffers random catastrophe that, once they occur, instantly removes all customers from the system and then server undergoes for a repair process. Service resumes as soon as the server returns from the repair facility. For this model, the steady- state solution and different measures of effectiveness are derived. Finally sensitivity analysis is also carried out to justify the validity of the model and relevant conclusion is presented.

Influence of Nickel Coated B4C particulates Addition on the Mechanical Characterization of Al7020 Alloy Composites

Abstract

In the present work investigations have been made on effect of nickel coated B4C particulates addition on the tensilebehavior of Al7020 alloy. Nickel coating on the B4C particles was done by using electroless coating method.Composites were prepared by using liquid melt method, 6 and 8 wt.% of B4C particulates were used to fabricate the Al7020 alloy composites. Samples were tested for microstructural characterization by using scanning electron microscopeand X-Ray diffraction. Mechanicalbehaviors like hardness, ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and percentage elongation were evaluated as per ASTM standards.............

Abstract

Health care is a major concern nowadays.developed science and knowledge based on Wireless-Sensing node technology oriented. Patients are facing a problematic situation of unforeseen demise due to the specific reason of heart problems and attack which is because of nonexistence of good medical maintenance to patients at the needed time. This is for specially monitoring the patients and informing doctors and loved ones. So we are proposing an innovative project to dodge such sudden death rates by using Patient Health Monitoring that uses sensor technology and uses internet to communicate to the loved ones in case of problems. This system uses Temperature and sensors for tracking patients health. This system also shows patients temperature and heartbeat tracked live data with timestamps over the Internetwork. Thus Patient health monitoring system based on IoT uses internet to effectively monitor patient health and helps the user monitoring their loved ones drom work and saves lives.

Abstract

In, modern world technology the communication systems arethe most widely researched area for wireless technology and the study of this communication system is incomplete without understanding the operation of the microstrip patch antennas.This technological trend has focused much effort into the design of a Micro strip patch array antenna mainly used in defense etc. The design and simulation of patch antennas is widely used in mobile cellular phones today as the antennas are easily fitted in the mobile housing, and our emphasis in this work is on optimization of a 10GHz microstrip patch antenna.In order to showcase and physically realize the model, for the same design's mathematical analysis, numerical and iterative simulations are carried out at 10GHz. Simulation is carried out in CST and the same.

Abstract

Over the twenty years instead of magnetic stimulation, electrical stimulation is preferred and has widely been used as an investigation tool to find any disorder of human cardiovascular system and also been used in treatment purpose as the side effects are very low in case of electrical stimulation. Howland current source (HCS) is one of the most popular device among the countless device have been designed to provide electrical stimulation because of its stability and simplicity. The main objective of this work is to derive the transfer function of Howland current source which has been formulated in classical feedback approach when it works in linear region and then a proper PID controller has been designed using Z-N tuning rule to improve the system performance of it. An addition of pole to a system is introduced to avoid the disturbance in steady state part. The proposed design increases the speed of the system as transient response improves which leads the electrical stimulation faster.

Parametric Optimization of Friction Stir Spot Welding Of AA6082 Using DFA and ANOVA

Abstract

Friction Stir Spot Welding (FSSW) is a process of pressure welding operating under the workpiece melting point. For AA6082 – T6 Sheets of aluminium alloy 3 mm thick, the mechanical behaviour (i.e. tensile shear tests, micro-hardness) of friction stir spot welded joints was studied in the present work. List of FSSW experiments with vertical CNC milling machine were conducted. FSSW is performed with different pin profiles (cylindrical, taper and threaded) with concave shoulder, Tool rotational speeds, i.e. 2000, 25000 and 3000 rpm, Dwell time 3 and 6 sec., feed rate 10, 15 and 20 mm / min. In this work, welding experiments are conducted on AA6082 with different process parameters combination of dwell time, tool geometry............

Abstract

Plant diseases cause major economic and production losses in the agriculture industry. It is very important to detection of plant diseases in early stage and in substantial improve in quality of the product. In existing research several methods have been used for disease detection of the plant. These methods have not implemented in an onsite field. In the present work initially, capturing the image of citrus plant leaf through the camera and identifying the symptoms like changing color, showing the spots on a leaf and curled boundary of the leaf. The experimental results for early recognition of disease in plants leaf from visual symptoms in an onsite field and successfully detecting amount of diseased leaf area.

Abstract

This paper emphasis on designing a system which can spontaneously dispense the fuel and deduct the amount from prepaid RFID card. Here, all users will have their own RFID cards which are recharged by prepaid amounts. The dispenser in the fuel station is installed with RFID reader which reads the RFID card and displays the available balance on LCD display unit. The user will enter the desired amount of fuel using the keypad,the system will calculate the time of operation for the electrical fuel pump and initiates the operation of fuel dispensing. The system will automatically shuts down the pump after reaching the user's desired value. It is combined with raspberry pi module which sends notification to the user through mobile application. Added to that, this system has fire sensor to detect fire accidents and purity sensor to check the purity of the fuel. Hence this work will make the petrol bunk management system with no boundaries and reduced manpower.

Abstract

The foremost computationally costly portion of numerous computer vision calculations comprises of looking for the most comparative matches to high dimensional vectors, also referred to as closest neighbour coordinating. Having an efficient algorithm for performing expeditious most proximate neighbour matching in immensely colossal data sets can bring speed amendments of several orders of magnitude to many applications. In this paper we exploit two algorithms for matching high dimensional features, first the K-nearest neighbour (KNN) and second SVM support learning technique using KNN. We also illustrate that the finest nearest neighbour algorithm and its parameters rely on the data-set features and portray an automatic configuration method for discovery of preeminent algorithm to search a particular data set.

Abstract

Spatial pattern of human-environment interaction is more fashionably represented as a cultural landscape and its change over time with the complex interaction of traditional culture and modernity at present. That can well be understood taking a chronological enquiry of the transformation of ownership of Royal sites from the Royal family to the University Authority that has taken place since 1960. This study tries to focus on the historical importance and the nature of the transformation of the royal sites into different cultural, ecological and cognitive space at present reflected through SWOT analysis of Burdwan Raj Royal sites based on its present condition. Thus the aim of this paper is to highlight the different factors responsible for the functioning of the Burdwan Raj Dynasty as a multifunctional space in the present cityscape of Burdwan.
