Forecasting Analysis of Coffee Export by multivariate Timeseries Models of Vector Autoregressive and Cointegration: A case study of Ethiopia

Abstract

Ethiopia is known as the birth place of Coffee Arabica. Coffee has been and remains the leading cash crop and export commodity of Ethiopia. It has accounted on average for about 5% of gross domestic product (GDP), 10% of total agricultural production and 60% of total export earnings for the past three to four decades. Coffee is the most widely consumed stimulant beverage in Ethiopia and about 50% of the total produce is consumed locally. The annual per capital consumption of coffee in Ethiopia is about 2.4 kilograms. This is comparable to the consumption level of the leading coffee consuming countries. There are two major varieties of coffee, namely coffee Arabica and Robusta coffee. Ethiopia produces only Arabica coffee, which is believed to have originated in the rain forests of south western Ethiopia.............

Optimal Power Allocation Strategy for Maximizing the Transmission Power of Cognitive Relay Nodes with S-AF Scheme

Abstract

In this paper, the power allocation strategies of the wireless system is studied to minimize the outage probability subject to total and individual power constraints for cognitive relay nodes and subject to interference constraints for primary user nodes. The proposed system uses a two-step distributed relay-secondary user selection scheme. Specifically, a relay terminal R𝑝 is first selected from a relay candidate set ℳ1 to assist the primary system in achieving a primary request target rate by serving as a DF relay. When the selection for R𝑝 succeed, a secondary transmitter R𝑠 which minimizes the secondary outage probability, is selected from a secondary transmitter candidate setℳ2 to access the spectrum band along with R𝑝, with a constraint that its transmission does not degrade the outage performance of the primary system............

A Novel Active Contour Model for Segmentation of Lungs in Chest Radiography

Abstract

Lung Segmentation in Chest Radiographs needs more attention. The proper selection of Lung Segmentation algorithm with high precision and low bias is a challenging task in the diagnosis of abnormalities in the Lung using Computer Aided Diagnosis. In this work Segmentation of lung is carried out using a noveldeformable shape approach. The novel deformable technique involves the Active contour model with local bit method.The Segmentation result obtained from thisproposed method is compared with the Ground Truth image of the standard database using various evaluation Metrics such as Dice Coefficient and Jaccard‟scoefficient. Based on the evaluation the proposed model provides a segmentation accuracy of nearly 96%. Many parameters are calculated to validate the proposed segmentation algorithm with the other algorithm.

The proposed work has been examined and tested on IEEE-9 bus system with six different objectives based onfuel cost, Transmission losses and Voltage profile improvement. Abstract

Due to dynamic nature of nodes and multiple routing requirements, routing has become one of the most daunting tasks in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs). In recent past, researchers have proposed a number of mechanisms to overcome challenges of routing. However, many parameter requirements such as minimization of end to end delay, improvement in throughput, and efficient adaptation to changes in network topology with low control overhead are still researcher's major concern. During recent 10 years biological insects and nature inspired mechanism have gained a lot of attention because they offer possible optimized solutions ensuring high robustness in the network, flexibility, and low cost. Moreover, it provides solution to large-scale sophisticated problems without having a traditional centralized control. Abstract

In this study, we investigated the analytical and a numerical solution was performed to study of the SCR reaction network. The SCR reaction network and their kinetic expressions are based on the system of nonlinear reaction diffusion equations. The dimensional, nonlinear, system of ordinary differential equations with an initial condition is solved analytically and numerically using Homotopy perturbation method and Matalb program. Analytical results are compared with the numerical results, a satisfactory agreement is noted. These analytical results are useful to understand the behavior of the system.

Abstract

Through the years, Recommender Systems have been trained towards maximizing recommendation accuracy in order to propose good recommendation. However, focusing on improving accuracy arises an overspecialization problem.To overcome this problem, the need of diversity in recommendation while maintaining accuracy has become crucial.Thereby, we propose a User-based Collaborative filtering approach based on a Non-negative matrix factorization with the ultimate objective of enhancing users' satisfaction by improving the trade-off between accuracy and diversity. Abstract

The pattern recognitions are arranged using different techniques and so results will be very accurate on run real time of detection of objects. These photos found red, blue and blue tones. The consequences of this understanding depend on the mastery of the image itself. A notable problem with latency is that it shows almost the estimated pixel values without taking into account the connections between them. The developing pattern detection framework offers many versatile use to enhance the existence pattern detection through proposed (Hybrid Integration Methodology-HIM). The results presented show very obvious results and you have discovered a high precision detection in MATLAB. The set of rules executed each time shows the best results and a safe output. The purpose of this paper is to apply the fuzzy method to a larger set of data identified by the model.
