Abstract

In India, energy sector has received top priority in all the five-year plans so far. The industrial revolution increased the utilization of the new technological products in our daily life, which has led to the consumption of more energy. The gap between supply and demand of electrical energy is increasing every year. The proven reserves of fossil fuel in India are not very large. In addition, the global warming and ozone depletion are the two major environmental problems faced by the world today. The growing national and international concern towards reduction of global warming and emphasis on energy saving has leads to the study of this work. Green House gas is one of the major reasons for Global Warming. One of the Green House gases is Hydrofluoric carbon, which is used in refrigeration and air- conditioning. In India, about 80% of the domestic refrigerators working under simple vapour compression system use R134a as the refrigerant.......

I – Classroom with Attendance System using Image Processing

Abstract

Automated attendance monitoring systems with image processinginvolving a user interface for the administrator to keep track of attendance of the classhave been extensively researched upon to build a successful technique to manage the attendance and records of students. It is widely acknowledged that the face recognition has played an important role in surveillance system as it doesn't need the object's co-operation.[10] Advanced concepts like Machine Learning are used in the implementation of such project ideas to overcome the implications in traditional hand-crafted features like uncontrolled environments such as pose, facial expression, illumination and occlusion that influence the accuracy of face recognition. This paper critically examines the main advances in automated attendance monitoring systems using image processing. In addition, systems using Machine Learning branch of reinforcement are elucidated and its performance accuracy is discussed.

Common Approaches for Face Recognition

Abstract

Attendance is a crucial part of every educational institute to keep track of its students' punctuality and performance assessment. Most commonly used attendance systems are signing attendance sheets or roll calls by the faculty which are time consuming as well as prone to forgery which results in inaccurate performance records. Biometric approach solves these issues especially Face Recognition which is the most secure of all biometrics and also fast, easy and convenient. The paper outlines different approaches for face recognition which uses different algorithms to provide authentic, accurate and efficient results in an attendance system.

Performance Enhancement of Solar Powered LED Street Light System

Abstract

Solar energy is a renewable energy which is used as a power source to charge the battery. As the main motive is to reduce cost and use of renewable energy which will help in development in Rural electrification. The issue with the existing design of solar LED street light was that the design is not application-oriented and other parameters such as boom angle, pole spacing, pole height etc. has not been considered. So in this project, we have investigated the effect of mounting angle of solar panel, panel sizing, battery capacity, pole spacing, boom angle, etc. Street lights need more energy in winter tha n on summer due to long winter nights therefore the effect of mounting angles of panel has a great impact on the cumulative energy output of the panels........

Abstract

Computerization frameworks are expanding in everyday life to build proficiency and make life simpler. Some early endeavors have been taken to use these advancements in cordiality industry. The robotizing framework we are utilizing here, is a mechanized request and pay framework in a restaurant. In this system, the customers make their order with the help of a TFT touchscreen placed on each table and payment of bill is done using an RFID card which is depicted as an ATM card. Once the bill payment is done, the order is sent to the kitchen in the restaurant via Bluetooth. The order will then display using LCD display at the receiving end showing the order and the requested table's order. This saves a lot of time and the customer satisfaction are raised because they get their order promptly.
