Agile methods for tend to improve the quality of software development projects by imposing a strong customer focus and continuous risk mitigation with every iteration. Gobang Game Design based on Module Division

Abstract

Gobang is a pure strategy chess game for two players. it can realize the function of two people playing Gobang on computer through C programming language. The program consists of welcome interface, game board interface, cursor movement and drop, judgment of victory or defeat, take back a move function, providing sound effect and other subprograms; the whole program applies elements and sentences such as structure, array, global variables, key processing and graphic programming. The program realizes the effect of two people playing chess on the computer through the functions of generating chessboard and chessman image, moving the two people and judging the outcome.

Cloud Query Processor Using Cloud Databases

Abstract

'Cloud Query Processor usingCloud Databases' is a new approach which combines Cloud Computing and Database for join query processing. This work tries to reveal the true power of Cloud Computing for database applications.A Cloud database is a distributed database thatdelivers computing as a service. Joins are one of the most important operations performed by a cloud database system. 'A Cloud Data Query Processor' is a new cloud data accessing method for efficient query processing which uses the SQL Join queries in cloud database. We propose a framework to systematically relax queries involving joins and selections. The objective is to create a solution that is viable for very large cloud datasets, thus allowing cloud data to be used as a solution for development of cloud databases. The bottleneck in the querying of large cloud datasets is performing joins and unions. Using this approach, we create tables that can be accessed and queried more efficiently. We introduce join tables that store the results of join executions. A Cloud Data Query Processor is a scalable and persistent data model for cloud data storage that improves the performance of queries.

Students' Perspective Learning Online: Higher Education Evolution

Abstract

Teaching and learning in higher institutions are facing a new learning style during the pandemic. It has shifted from traditional to virtual learning. This contingency plan with unpredicted incidents had transformed into online education platforms. The purpose of this research is to measure students' perceptions of virtual learning in higher institutions. Data was collected by distributing google form questionnaires to 60 students from a different university in Malaysia. This paper attempted to investigate students' perceptions of learning expectations online focusing on instructional design, course opening, assessment, and interaction. This study employed qualitative forms of gathering and analysing student perceptions on the implementation and use of online materials. Response based on positive and negative experiences were examined. Factors that contribute to those experiences were identified. The results indicated that there is a need to strengthen learning readiness and the need for multiple technology features to motivate online learning. This work will benefit designers, lectures, and universities to strengthen the practices in making the learning needs more effectively.

Use of Photovoltaic Energy as a Means for Environmental Sustainability of an Irrigation System by Rainwater Captation

Abstract

Irrigation activity is essential to meet the needs of plants and crops. However, this requires large amounts of water and energy. The use of photovoltaic energy helps to reduce the energy expenditure that is produces, while rainwater harvesting systems are an alternative to reduce the exploitation of the aquifers. The aim of this work is to design a rainwater irrigation system using photovoltaic energy for the Country Condominium "La Sabaneta" located in Puente Nacional, Santander, Colombia. We evaluated hydrometeorological data obtained from a literature review, for the previous definition of parameters and the design of pipes for the irrigation system, together with the determination of the photovoltaic panel system. Results suggest that the use of photovoltaic energy is feasible for the sustainability of the different crops in the study area, in addition to being environmentally friendly.

Abstract

PT. Amco MultiTech is a company engaged in the field of general trading and suppliers. The business process that runs on the company today still uses old methods such as the sales process, which in its management still relies on media interaction with consumers (customers) directly and always centred on a particular location. Therefore this research aims to analyze business processes to determine the functional and non-functional requirements of the system, which will then modelled using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). In this study, using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) approach to help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes. The results of this study are an application model of the application of sales of consumables that is more effective and efficient.
