Abstract

As we all know, multimedia, by virtue of its name, incorporates multiple media. Each medium of multimedia field requires specific production skills and tools. The term multimedia can be applied to add audio and pictures to a business presentation with a combination of media skills. With multimedia produced on a personal computer, the tools that we need for production can be installed directly on our desktop PC. Moreover, managing the resources is a significant step to build the foundation for successful multimedia production. In this paper how to build the foundation for successful multimedia production is discussed in deta and also about the skills and the people who involve in a multimedia production.

International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

A Distributed Computing System (DCS) has the potential to enhance the system programs which is connected by a communication network. The optimality of the system can be achieved by performing the execution of the tasks in such a way that the response time of the system be optimal in DCS. In this paper we are assigning the tasks on that processor by the method of minimal linked tasks which has the strong characteristic with appropriate execution time by fusion of the tasks. We are taking fuzzy execution time and fuzzy inter task communication time in this paper. The defuzzification is used in fuzzy modeling and in fuzzy logic control to convert the fuzzy output from the system to crisp values. We are using defuzzification in this problem by Robust's ranking method. A mathematical model has been developed to determine the optimal response time and maximize throughput of the system with fuzzy execution time and fuzzy inter task communication time.

Paper Indexed : : 03.3005/xxxxxxx
International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

Safety in built environment is one of the top responsibilities and priorities of Governments of all countries. For this, Governments develop building codes. Checking for compliance of building codes is a tedious work in building design due to large number of complex codes containing hierarchical subdivisions and cross references. Technical developments in Building Information Modeling provide the prospective of automating this code compliance process and thus improving the effectiveness of building design and execution. This paper aims to provide a new automated framework for compliance checking process in building design, with respect to structural safety aspect of Reinforced Concrete Commercial Buildings. The reports generated were validated in terms of recall and precision.

International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

Cloud computing allows the users to outsource their data using cloud storage servers in order to reduce the economic cost. Cloud computing and storage solutions provide users and enterprises to store and process their data in third-party data centers that may be located far from the user– ranging in distance from across a city to across the world. Encryption is a potential way to protect the confidentiality of the outsourced data, but it also introduces much difficulty to performing effective searches over encrypted information. Although traditional searchable encryption scheme, Public key Encryption with Keyword Search (PEKS), allow users to securely search...........

International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

According to the investigation to the floating population in Hangzhou, this paper analyzes floating population's integration level in society in Hangzhou at present and the significant influence of the difference between two sides' registration and identification on social integration from two perspectives including floating population's integration and local people's acceptance. The result shows that the dimensions like economy, culture and identity affects the level of social integration significantly; the difference in registration and identity also has significant influence on social integration which is caused by the difference between floating population and local people in the aspects like identity, values, culture and custom. To eliminate the differences among groups caused by the social system helps to improve the level of social integration.

International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

Cloud Computing is known to be a new computing model which provides reliable, secure and quality assured computational environment for users. Most of the users prefer to store their data inside the cloud in an encrypted format to decrease the security concerns. However, to perform any operation on data at server, cloud needs to first decrypt the data. This operation might cause the challenging issues e.g. confidentiality along with privacy of confidential data, stored inside the cloud. Therefore secure outsourcing mechanisms are much needed to protect the sensitive information by enabling computations with encrypted data as well as to verify and validate the computation end result..........

International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

Thick and thin film rectangular microstrip patch antennas have been used to investigate the effect of leaf moisture on their response. This paper reported the effect of Ficus Benghalensis leaf when it was used as overlay on thick and thin film microstrip rectangular patch antennas. An approximate estimate values of the effective dielectric constant of the leaf has been made using overlay technique. It is felt that both thick and thin film microstrip patch antennas can be used to monitor the moisture status of leafy vegetation.

Effect of Yaw Angle on Drag Over Clean Rectangular Cavities
Dhaval Shiyani || Peter Disimile

International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

The effect of yaw angle on the drag generated by the presence of a clean sharp edged rectangular cavity embedded in a fully developed turbulent boundary layer, generated over a flat plate, was computationally studied using OpenFOAM. Majority of research into cavity flows focus on the unsteady pressures and resulting acoustic signature generated by cavities and potential acoustic suppression techniques. However, the drag caused by these surface cutouts can be substantial, resulting in the generation of shear layer oscillations which could alter the performance of the vehicle containing such surfaces, and potentially produce damaging structural loading and therefore needs to be studied in detail..........

Paper Indexed : : 03.3005/xxxxxxx
International Journal of Computational Engineering Resaerch, Volume 07 ~ Issue 8 (August – 2017)

Abstract

This paper presents fusion of two biometric traits, i.e., iris and palmprint, at matching score level architecture using weighted sum of score technique. The features are extracted from the pre-processed images of iris and palmprint. These features of a query image are compared with those of a template database image to obtain matching scores. The individual scores generated after matching are passed to the fusion module. This module consists of three major steps i.e., normalization, generation of similarity score and fusion of weighted scores. The final score is then used to declare the person as genuine or an impostor. The system is tested on template databases collected by the authors for 1250 samples and gives an overall accuracy of 97.04% with FAR of 0.58% and FRR of 4.34%.
